Carriera is seeking a chartered building surveyor in Bristol.
This is an opportunity to join one of the UK’s leading property and construction consultancy’s who host a network of offices throughout the country.
The Bristol office employs 30-40 strong, comprised of building surveyors, cost managers, architects, health & safety consultants and support staff. The building surveying team, work with a portfolio of clients ranging from large insurers, through to developers, local authorities, hospitals, secondary schools and Universities.
The position will see you providing advice on design, construction, maintenance, and repair & refurbishment. You will encounter a mixed portfolio made up of residential and commercial properties, ranging from periodic through to new build. The role will be a mix of delivery and client facing where some of your duties will consist of providing professional services advice, managing projects and client expectations.
These services include but are not limited to project management, contract administration, dilapidations, party wall, building surveys, PPM’s, claims negotiations, business development and mentoring.
The business is looking for a chartered building surveyor, who lives within a commutable distance of Bristol. You will have successfully gained MRICS and are competent in carrying out project and professional related work. Experience in managing a team or graduate is not a necessity but an added benefit.
In return you will receive a salary up to £58,000 with benefits including, healthcare, life assurance, pension, 25 days holiday, subscriptions and membership fees for relevant body professionals, mobile & laptop, season ticket loans and more.
