We have an exciting opportunity available for an Associate Director - Property, a senior post within the organisation, reporting to the Director of Finance & Corporate Services. The property portfolio comprises an interest in around 150 properties and has a current estimated market value of around £25m.

This is a dynamic property portfolio subject to constant change, and the post holder will be responsible for the life cycle of property transactions from acquisitions, through the maintenance cycle and disposal. You will work with Directors, Heads of Department and staff throughout the organisation to further develop and implement the Estate Strategy and develop robust systems and processes to ensure that the property portfolio is managed effectively.

You will lead a team of one qualified Buildings Surveyor and seven trade’s personnel.

OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE POST

Provide vision, leadership and management of property services across the organisation, developing and evolving the current Estate Strategy that underpins and advances the strategic objectives as set out in the Quarriers Corporate Strategy 2020-2023.

Plan, deliver and maintain a fit for purpose property infrastructure and related systems that meet the requirements of the organisation’s staff and volunteers.

Responsible for the delivery of an effective property management service to the organisation, including delivery and management of the annual maintenance programme. Full details of this role can be viewed on the attached Job Role Profile.

The successful candidate must have a full current drivers licence and access to their own transport.
