Permanent Graduate Estates Surveyor

I am working with a Local Authority, based in the West Midlands, who are looking for a Graduate Estates Surveyor to join their team on a permanent basis.

Duties in the role:

You'll be shadowing and providing support to the Property and Estates Manager, ensuring the council's profits are being maximised by the property portfolio.

On a day-to-day basis, you'll be required to complete:

• Basic asset valuations
• Rent reviews
• Lease renewals
• General estates management

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum (depending on qualifications and experience)

Location: West Midlands

Work conditions: In office/Site visits, potential for work from home after a couple of months

Client: Local Authority

For this role:

You should have a degree in Real Estates, Estates Management or Surveying.

You should be working towards or intending on achieving your MRICS qualifications.

You should have a comprehensive understanding of the property market, and of landlord and tenant legislation.

If you have experience working in Property Services (work experience or summer internships) this would be beneficial.
