Chartered Building Surveyor - Birmingham - Salary Negotiable
Your new company
You will be working as a Chartered Senior Building Surveyor at a UK wide multi-disciplinary consultancy out of their Birmingham office.
Your new role
You will be responsible for developing new client relationships and maintaining existing ones whilst providing surveying services. You will also be responsible for managing a team of graduates as they work on their own projects, alongside supporting business objectives and the directors. Knowledge of commissions, party walls, new build construction, maintenance, renovations, and surveys will be essential as you run projects from design to completion. You will be expected to deliver a high-quality service in line with customer requirements, and quality monitoring all construction, whilst appointing and overseeing sub-contractors. You'll need to identify new business development opportunities by conducting service bids and managing delivery.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be a member of RICS and have in-depth practical experience within Building Surveying. Knowledge of construction and materials is essential, along with an understanding of relevant legislation. As you will be overseeing a team of Graduates, the ability to motivate others whilst working and leading your team will be vital, alongside proficient ICT Skills (MS Package).
