This Developer benefits from significant parent company backing ensuring a consistent pipeline of work. At present, they have a secured pipeline of 5 schemes delivering 800 units throughout London & the South.

Description

As the Senior Quantity Surveyor you will report to the Commercial Director and and work closely with all other departments and directly with the Managing Director in a broad SME role based in South London. Your key responsibilities in this role will be:

• Deliver estimates for each project
• Oversee cost reporting across all projects
• Procurement/buying of materials and sub-contractors
• Production of monthly cash-flows
• Support the design and implementation of processes and procedures

Profile

As a strong applicant for this Senior Quantity Surveyor position you will:

• Demonstrate a track record as the commercial lead on multiple residential projects
• Ideally demonstrate a background in estimating and quantity surveying, any buying experience (materials) is also advantageous
• Be comfortable working in a role across multiple projects simultaneously
• Show a willingness to roll your sleeves up and get stuck into project details as well as look at the bigger picture

You must have the right to work in the UK.

You will be comfortable working 5-days/wk in the South London office and visiting sites.

Job Offer

The offer to the successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will be an opportunity to bring best-practice to an SME environment and in the process to broaden your knowledge and develop a well-rounded skill-set leading to future opportunities.

The package on offer is a salary between £70,000-£80,000 (depending on experience) plus travel/car allowance, bonus, pension, medical.
