Building Surveyor

Our Client: Independent multi-disciplinary consultancy who have offices throughout the UK working with clients in both the public and private sectors.

Projects: Local Authority, Commercial and Mixed Use.

Company Headcount: 2000 - 2500

Role of the Building Surveyor:

Working across a number of projects within Home Office providing a range of project management and building surveying duties.The use and application of standard and collaborative forms of building contract, such as PPC2000, JCT and NEC.Understand the principles of quality, safety and the environment within the management of projectsSupporting the senior managers in their day-to-day activities.Carry out surveys, inspections, schedules, provide professional services and management of schemes (primarily across the South East of England with potential travel to the EU)

Requirements of the Building Surveyor:

A BSc (Hons) in Building Surveying or a similar degree accredited by RICSSound technical surveying knowledge and significant building surveying experience.Experience managing clients and their expectations coupled with a strong understanding of profitability, business development, and sound commercial awareness.Sound knowledge of drafting technical documents including bidsFull understanding of Health and Safety requirementsExcellent time management, punctuality and commitment to getting the job done
