As an autonomous Project Manager you will work within the local government team on projects from their Birmingham based office, but with 2-3 days from home. You will help manage and develop a consultant design team to ensure aims are met and everyone is supported and motivated to get the projects delivered on time and to budget.
What is required for this excellent opportunity as a Project Manager:
- A qualification from a relevant board like MRICS or the APM is preferable but not a deal breaker
-Experience in doing RIBA stages 0-7 for a construction or project management firm as the clients representative
- A good understanding of contracts and how to administer them, JCT and NEC 3 or 4 would be ideal
- Appointment of the design team and leading design meetings, tender analysis and contractor appointments through to on site delivery and handover of projects from £3m-35m in scale
-Enthusiastic, motivated and proactive Project Manager
-Exceptional communication and organisational skills to get the job done whilst managing multiple stakeholders
