Asset Manager

The Company:
 
Joshua Robert Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Asset Manager to join a newly formed property development organisation and play a vital role in driving forward housing, economic development and regeneration with a long term income stream delivering high quality sustainable developments. The organisation was set up to deliver new affordable and market priced homes and a range of commercial, mixed use opportunities across the county.
 
The company will deliver an initial portfolio of over 10 development sites with a GDV of over £500m and build up a pipeline of further sites. They will also take on the responsibility income producing portfolio of over 50 assets which are a mix portfolio of farms, schools, industrial and commercial lets.
 
 
The Role:
 
The role will be crucial in providing commercial and technical expertise to ensure the income producing portfolio is managed efficiently and providing a good return and meets its objectives.
 
You will work collaboratively with the Managing Director, Head of Finance and lined managed by the Senior Asset Manager the post holder will work on the management of a range of leases and licences within a diverse property portfolio.
 
You will also use commercial acumen, skills and experience of working in the local market to manage the tenants efficiently and sensitively to deliver the income required to the group to meets is financial targets. In addition, you will also draft Transaction Reports and Business Case reports to approve the re-letting of assets and disposal of assets to the market.
 
 
The Person:
 
You will have a practical understanding of commercial property and asset management, including service charge management and will have previous experience of working on TRAMPS or comparable property management platforms.
 
You will ideally hold a property related degree and will be a RICS qualified surveyor.
