Hays are working with one of the UK's largest multidisciplinary construction consultancies, operating across the design, project management, infrastructure, transport and civil engineering sectors. Due to the success of the business at a local level and a number of new project wins, a position for a Junior Quantity Surveyor (PQS) has become available on a permanent basis.

Your new role

Reporting to the Associate Director, you will assist on projects up to the value of £260M across the healthcare and commercial & infrastructure sectors. You will assist in the cost management of these high value projects, ensuring contracts are administered correctly. As a key aspect of this position you will be expected to maintain excellent relationships and lead progress meetings with a range of clients.


What you'll need to succeed

To be considered for this position you should possess a degree qualification in Quantity Surveying and a minimum of one years' experience working as a Quantity Surveyor. Ideally with PQS experience, you must have excellent verbal and written communication skills alongside strong organisational capabilities. It is vital that the selected candidate has a professional and flexible approach to work to allow for further training and development.
