Surveyor Ratings/Valuations

A Surveyor required to join our surveying team, working on business rates appeals.

We would require the applicant to be of a Surveyor or above and would preferably have experience working within the business rates sector. Would need the ability to work closely within a team, as well as work well autonomously when required.

CPA are a RICS regulated surveying firm that specialises in business rates.

Main responsibilities:

• Each case would be handled from start to finish, from inspecting the site and gathering the comparable evidence, to finalising negotiations with the VO and to attend the occasional VT if necessary.
• Gathering evidence will be a key part of the role. Using the measurements and other findings from the site inspection, looking at comparable properties and rental figures, using google, Costar, Analyse and other such software.
• The job would be a mix of site inspections, working remotely and regular visits to the Head office in Bristol.
• You would be working closely with the other surveyors and the surveyor support in prioritising cases.
