Development Officer - Exeter

Your new company
You will be working for a South-West based Housing Association that pride themselves on their approach to sustainability, providing residents with energy efficient homes with good ventilation and affordable warmth. The residents, are at the heart of everything they do, setting the highest standards for affordable housing.

Having recently secured considerable funding, they are projected to double their development programme and are now seeking a new and exciting team to deliver a pipeline of rented and shared ownership homes in Exeter and the Travel to Work Area.

Your new role
To be successful in this role, you will need excellent client-facing skills, utilising your ability to communicate and delegate effectively to your Development Officers, managing key stake-holder relationships. You will have a good working knowledge and understanding of Homes England procedures, regulations and alternate funding streams. You will utilise your previous experience working within residential housing on various development routes and processes and demonstrate relevant experience of land, package, tendered works and S106 acquisition procurement.

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you will utilise your experience working within Social Housing managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders to nurture and expand relationships to assist in the delivery of homes. You will be organised in manner, and ideally have experience within a Social Housing setting.

What you'll get in return
A salary of up to £35,000 including the opportunity of working remotely, along with a competitive package, and membership to the Social Housing Pension Scheme.
