Chartered Building Surveyor

New opportunity for an ambitious Building Surveyor, MRICS not essential, to join a successful and busy consultancy working throughout the South of England. You will be working with long standing clients and be exposed to a depth and breadth of projects across multiple sectors. You will full support to achieve all of your ambitions and you will have a clear pathway to Senior and Associate level in the future.

 The role 

• Managing internal ream resources for project delivery 
• Client relationship management; supporting team in delivering and securing work 
• Collating and organising technical building information from designers 
• Investigating and offering technical advice including site & building surveys and regulatory requirements 
• Coordinating design information 
• Preparing specifications for construction work
• Team management
• Obtaining tenders for construction work
• Managing others in preparing drawings, plans and documents
• Site visits for progress reporting and inspections
• Contract Administration
• Party Wall matters
• Researching new design processes, building legislation and technology 

Requirements 

• MRICS ideal but not essential
• Ambitious with aspirations to develop career to manage team delivery 
• Full driving licence 
• Ability to work under own initiative and within a team setting
• Knowledge of AutoCAD
• JCT suite of contracts
• Building Regulations 2010 and updates / amendments
• CDM 2015

Salary is negotiable depending on your level of experience, qualification and ability. Range £35k to £60k
