Job Details
I am working with a Local Authority in Lancashire who require an Interim Estates Manager on a 6-month initial contract.
You'll be required to lead and manage the Estates Service comprising Professional, Technical and Administrative staff. Your other duties and responsibilities include:
- Managing both the Councils operational and non-operational property portfolios and to continually review and monitor the performance and use of these assets.
- Developing and implementing comprehensive planned maintenance programmes across the Council's portfolios and to ensure that assets are kept in good repair and condition.
- Maximising income through effective management of the managed property portfolio and to negotiate effective terms for the sale and management of all Council assets.
- Effectively managing and developing the Estates Service to assist the delivery of the Council's Asset Management Strategy and related plans, projects and maintenance programmes.
RATE: £400-425 PER DAY
LOCATION: Lancashire
CLIENT: Local Authority
CONTRACT LENGTH: 6 months
MRICS is ESSENTIAL
Local Authority experience is highly desirable.
