I am working with a Local Authority in Lancashire who are looking for an Interim Estates Surveyor to join their team on a 6-month contract, with the potential of an extension.

Key responsibilities:

  • To undertake a comprehensive range of property management duties to ensure the effective management of the Council's Assets including acquisitions, disposals, valuations, rent reviews, lettings, lease renewals, surveys, consents, assignments, repair and maintenance, service charges and day to day management of tenants.
  • To value, acquire and dispose of land and property as required by the Council and to carry out detailed appraisals in respect of development schemes as required.
  • To carry out valuations of land and property for a range of purposes including acquisition, disposal, compensation, rating and accounting purposes.
  • To use and maintain the property information management systems and contribute to the development of systems.

RATE: £40-44 per hour INSIDE IR35

LOCATION: Lancashire

CLIENT: Local Authority

FLEXIBLE WORKING: Hybrid working available (required in office and on site visits at least once a week)

MRICS is ESSENTIAL

Local Authority experience is desirable
