Assistant Surveyor / Project Officer

An outstanding career opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Surveyor to join a busy capital projects team. Reporting to the Surveyor / Project Manager this position will assist with a variety of work supporting the delivery of all aspects of the capital programme and Long-Term Maintenance plan.
This post will be an integral part of the wider estate management team tasked with delivering the 5-year estates plan and a broad spectrum of capital projects, all designed to enhance the physical environment and student and staff experience. The estate has over 100 buildings and in excess of 1,000 student rooms across a number of sites. Based at either our Chichester or Bognor Regis campus, this position will be an important team member and be given exposure to fantastic projects and excellent training and development to support their career progression.
It is essential you have a basic surveying or project management qualification and or experience together with an understanding of basic project and contract management. Liaising with a range of stakeholders it is vital you have a range of communication / interpersonal skills and a resourceful, flexible, helpful and pragmatic approach.
