International Insurance Valuations - Senior Surveyor

My international client is looking to add a senior surveyor to their specialist valuation team. Predominantly the successful candidate will be valuing buildings and plant & equipment for insurance purposes in the UK and worldwide for our multinational client base.

My client services a broad range of companies & organisations, ranging from FTSE 100 companies, major REITs, along with a broad variety of residential, commercial, industrial and government client, across multiple markets, both domestically and internationally.

Clients include:

• Land Securities
• Capco
• London Regional
• Rolls Royce
• Cadogan Estates,
• local authorities, small property owners and housing associations.

Job Summary:
To undertake Reinstatement Cost Assessments (RCAs) and manage wider insurance valuation projects and ongoing instructions for clients from inception to completion; ensuring quality standards are never compromised. The opportunity offers an end-to-end role and responsibility for the overall work completed, although Director supervision, ancillary office and Graduate support will be provided.

You will be reporting directly to the business owners and Head of Buildings, this will be an integral role within the company, with the opportunity for career expansion and progression.

About You

• Ideally fully MRICS qualified, however, relevant accredited qualification (AssocRICS) or CABE/CIOB would also be considered.

• Must have experience of Commercial Valuation/Buildings Surveying.

• Hold a clean UK driving licence & valid passport.

• Have a proven track record of undertaking a similar role

• Be used to working directly with clients and be comfortable completing complex valuations for insurance purposes.

• Have the ability to report to clients, project manage large valuation exercises across different clients.

• Ability to articulate and prepare professional communications/reports.

• Be willing to complete work across the UK and abroad as required.

Place of Work
The successful candidate can work remotely from wherever they’re based, however, coming into my clients’ London office will be required as and when necessary.
