The client: An independent property consultancy based across the UK, undertaking a variety of Building Surveying services taking place across a range of sectors including Residential, retail, leisure etc.

Role of the Building Surveyor: Undertaking a range of building surveying services with a commercial based focus, including:

General building surveying commercial work e.g. dilapidationsRefurbishment and redevelopment projectsMonitoringContract administrationPre-acquisition surveysPPM

Performance Criteria:

MRICS Qualified, accompanied with 3 years Post Qualification ExperienceA Building surveying degreeExpertise in general building surveying i.e. contract administration and dilapidations Excellent report writing skillsExperience of working of working in the commercial sectorGood knowledge of building contracts in a commercial context Commercial awareness and understanding

Key Skills:

Ability to work both independently and in a team environmentConfident and concise communicator verbally and in writingBusiness focusedAble to participate in business developmentAble to dictate effectively using digital dictation system
