Your new role

Principal Surveyor - Property & Asset Management

The roles primary function will be to provide commercial property & asset management support across an allocated operational portfolio which could include other authority assets, markets, courts, and investment assets. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a c.£11m annual rent roll, rent reviews, lease renewals, acquisitions, disposals, and service charges. Managing external stakeholders will also be an integral part of the role overseeing transactions, challenging valuations, and seeking development appraisal guidance.

What you'll need to succeed

This role will require a mix of experience, the ideal candidate will have worked in both public and private settings and is comfortable with process driving tasks. MRICS Qualified is essential, holding a proven track record of managing complex mixed-use portfolios. Commercial experience is vital as the portfolio predominantly comprises of office, retail, leisure and light industrial.
