Amazing opportunity for an ambitious Senior Chartered Quantity Surveyor to work with a non-corporate multi-disciplined construction consultancy based out of their central London office working across numerous sectors including residential, commercial, and retail.
About the role
This well-established multi-disciplined consultancy works on projects all over the country with value ranging from £10-100 million working from an office network spanning the UK. Their partner lead approach has ensured an 80% repeat business rate with previous clients including the RNLI, Rolls Royce and the National Gallery, contributing to their continuously successful growth for over half a century.
As a Senior Chartered Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for proactively driving projects forward, collaborating with architects and engineers, providing accurate cost advice, and reporting through all stages of the project lifecycle. You will also oversee and manage the entire tender process as well as fulfil multiple EA duties such as monitoring. You should have good communication skills due to the collaborative nature of the role, dealing with multi-disciplined teams as well as advising architects and engineers on cost implications. Strong negotiation and cost management skills are also essential during both the construction and evaluation of final accounts.
The successful candidate will be degree qualified RICS accredited or equivalent, be MRICS chartered and have proven experience of working in a commercially focused role. You will be a confident, professional individual who enjoys a challenge, is keen to lead from the front and take ownership and has the drive to grow your business area and supporting team. My client is looking for an ambitious person who'll benefit from their support and progression route and seeks to utilize their experience to further develop their career.
