Building Surveyor - Remote Working

We are looking for a building surveyor with experience in fire related matters, to join a very successful consultancy in the South of England.

Our client provides building consultancy and FM services across the UK, operating in the corporate, healthcare, education, retail & leisure, local authority & central government sectors. They also have a number of contacts within the conservation space and work with a number of institutional investors, banks, and developers.

The head of building consultancy is looking for building surveyor who is happy to work from home and travel between Kent, Essex, Sussex, and London. The work will be a mix of project and professional work including surveys, dilapidations, license to alteration and contract administration. You will also work in conjunction, with the fire compartmentation department and assist with EWS1’s, external cladding surveys, fire door replacements and fire risk assessments.

The successful candidate will have at least a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in building surveying. Experience in fire related matters is ideal. However, not a necessity. You will have strong report writing skills and are a good communicator. You must have a driving license.

In return the business will provide you with all of the tools and support needed to work from home, as well as a solid basic salary up to £60,000 D.O.E plus pension, car allowance, healthcare and more.
