Associate Building Surveyor

A fantastic opportunity for an Associate building surveyor to join one of Brighton's prevalent consultancies.

The opportunity will see you deputise for the head of department, taking on a mentorship and team leading role. You will be responsible for your own workload, managing client relationships and developing new business. The workload is diverse through project and professional duties, with a particular emphasis on offices, retail and industrial. There are no restrictions on the scale of projects that you can deliver, so if you win the work and have a passion for project management this could be the role for you.

Typical workload will include contract administration, on projects typically up to £1 million, building surveys, party wall notices and awards, construction monitoring, health & safety, planning permissions, feasibility studies, pre-acquisition surveys, technical due diligence and dilapidations.

You will be a qualified building surveyor, have good client exposure, used to taking briefs from clients and ideally started in a managerial/ mentorship role.
