We are currently seeking a Senior Project Manager - Water to help deliver projects as part of a growing and expanding PPM Water Business within an Independent Engineering Consultancy. You will be part of a diverse team responsible for the successful delivery of project and programmer management commissions for major clients including major water companies Frameworks. This Senior Project Manager - Water will also support in-house teams delivering strategic major water opportunities. There is also the potential to lead and support projects in other infrastructure sectors such are energy, highways, aviation, and rail.

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager - Water with excellent technical knowledge and experience as an integral part of the London based PPM team. You will bring a desire to deliver meaningful work with successful outcomes for the clients through innovative solutions.

The role of a Senior Project Manager - Water will be to drive, challenge and successfully deliver complex strategic and operational water projects using best practice PPM knowledge and advisory skills. You will also contribute to the work winning and the successful delivery of bids. Your typical activities will include:

• Being the day-to-day project manager on a range of large and small infrastructure projects and programmes.
• Working as part of a team to deliver commissions to a high standard of quality, and client satisfaction.
• Identifying and mitigating reputational and commercial risks.
• Helping find new work opportunities with current and new clients, developing client relationships and working on bids.
• Supporting the development of new service offerings.

Requirements and skills

You will be able to demonstrate your understanding, skill, and experience in the following areas:

• Work in the water sector.
• Knowledge of project and / or programme management.
• Experiencing of being part of a team managing projects and / or programmes and be able to demonstrate how your contributions made a difference.
• Able to assess real world project scenarios and plan a course of action that will deliver the required project outcomes.

• An ability to get things done through others.
• Ability to apply a range of digital tools to improve day to day efficiency.

• You will also be able to demonstrate one or more of the following:

• The management of projects delivering digitally enabled improvements.
• The provision of Advisory services to clients.
• Experience in sustainable development.

• Minimum of a good first degree in a relevant subject and working towards a professional qualification in Engineering or in Project and Programme management.
