This is an opportunity for an Analyst to progress their career at a real estate IM company which currently has $4.4bn of assets under management globally. The culture is highly entrepreneurial, and the successful applicant will be expected to liaise with key senior leaders to validate underwriting assumptions across the business.
My client manages private equity investments in purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) assets around the world. The business has received numerous accolades within the student accommodation arena and has a 30-year track record in the sector, pioneer / entering new markets globally. They are specialists in the acquisition, development and managements of both single assets and large portfolios.
- Support the transaction individuals including broader and local acquisition teams with the risk analysis and associated transaction sensitivities.
- Take the lead on financial modelling, research and co-ordination of the due diligence.
- Model business plans and provide detailed and extensive cash flow modelling.
- Assist portfolio and fund managers with weekly, monthly and quarterly commentaries. Good overview of financial markets and macroeconomic trends is required.
The successful candidate will possess 2-4 years' experience with a demonstrable track record of analytical and modelling work within real estate investment internationally. Excellent financial modelling, analysis and research skills are required along with high-level analytical, planning, organising and problem-solving attributes.
