Interim Estates Surveyor

Park Avenue are working with a Local Authority client in the East Midlands who are looking for a competent Interim Estates Surveyor to join the Property team on an initial 3 month rolling contract inside IR35 with scope for further extension.

The Job

As an Interim Estates Surveyor, you will be working with the property and estates team and being responsible for the council's property portfolio undertaking all general practice matters and estate management responsibilities daily.

Duties in the role

• You will be working alongside the estate's team, managing the Council's commercial property portfolio. On a day-to-day basis, you will be completing basic valuations, rent reviews, service charge management, new lettings, lease renewals, easements, and general estate management duties.

Key Experience Required:

• To be a hardworking and punctual individual and be able to efficiently work in the Estates Team.
• Previous experience in Estate Surveying, Rent Reviews, Lease Reviews, and Valuations, preferably with Local Authority experience.
• Education to Degree level or equivalent in property-related discipline and ideally be MRICS qualified but not essential.

Contract

The position will be for an initial 3 month rolling contract with scope for an extension.

The contract will pay roughly £35-£45 via Umbrella Per Hour inside IR35.
