Amazing opportunity for an ambitious Quantity Surveyor to work with a non-corporate multi-disciplined construction consultancy based out of their Oxford office working across numerous sectors including residential, commercial, and retail.

About the role

This well-established multi-disciplined consultancy works on projects all over the country with value ranging from £10-100 million working from an office network spanning the UK. Their partner lead approach has ensured an 80% repeat business rate with previous clients including the RNLI, Rolls Royce and the National Gallery, contributing to their continuously successful growth for over half a century.

As a Quantity Surveyor you will be expected to lead and manage projects autonomously, working as part of a team to drive a wide range of prestigious projects pre-contract. We pride ourselves on developing long lasting relationships, so it's important that you're an outgoing individual keen to attend meetings facing our variety of clients; ranging from healthcare and pharmaceutical companies to motor racing and automotive manufacturers.

About you

You're either MRICS or working towards and ideally have experience working in the construction industry whether this is from a consultancy or contractor background. The opportunity is best suited to a driven ambitious individual who'll thrive from a leadership position, willing to coach and mentor those more junior members of the team. The day-to-day role will include advising and evaluating costs, creative procurement strategies and benchmarking data. In doing so, strong negotiation and cost management skills are essential during the construction and evaluation of final accounts.
