Your new company

Hays are currently working in partnership with a recognised Facility Management Company in their search for a Senior Programme Manager to join their growing team. This company has a strong presence throughout the UK, with an annual turnover of £1bn. They have now continued this growth throughout Northern Ireland, continuing to deliver quality services within construction, building maintenance & security, and they now need a Senior Programme Manager to lead a team of Project Managers within their Belfast office

Your new role

This is a permanent role where you will be given the opportunity to manage and coordinate the programme of work for each project across the province for a large Government Body. You will lead the Project Management team and Sub-Consultants delivering projects methodology and approach to meet the contract obligations, objectives and associated budget expenditure. Reporting into the Contract Director, you will be responsible for managing this government body estate on a variety of micro, small and capital works

What you'll need to succeed

You will have previous experience working as a Senior Project Manager, managing a programme of works within a construction related Environment. Ideally you will have a 3rd level construction related qualification or equivalent. It is essential that you have experience in delivering projects from inception through to completion, alongside managing a team of individuals, delivering projects within a strict time scale and budget. Ideally you will have a Project Management related qualification (MSc or Prince 2 qualified). You will be commercially aware and have a strong understanding of a project life cycle.
