Job Details

Our client is an award-winning property and construction consultancy who opened their doors almost 40 years ago, and since then they have successfully made their stamp delivering projects worldwide. Their speciality lies within urban renewals, regeneration schemes and renovations with a portfolio of English heritage projects as well.

There is now a space in the Hospitality and Leisure team for a French Speaking Senior Quantity Surveyor to join. You will be based in their office in West London and be expected to travel to various hospitality and leisure sector sites across London with internationally travel.

Aspects of your role will include:

Maximising the levels of value and cost certainty being achieved for our clients.Reporting on project financials at all levels to both internal and external stakeholders.Producing models and projections of overall cash savings.Producing management reports and communicating progress and forecasts to the client team, including all pre and post contractual management duties.Undertake benchmarking and comparison analysis between suppliers.Negotiating with supply chain members.Designing and producing cost management process manuals.Collaborating and managing external stakeholders in order to understand and fulfil the client's needs.Proactive in identifying risks and putting in place a robust mitigation strategy.Producing tender documents, schedules of rate including pre-ambles and preliminaries.Attending sites, as well as internal and external client facing meetings.Aware of and keep up to date with relevant legislation which affects the properties managed by our clients.Requirements:

Have a Quantity Surveying Degree awarded by a UK university and accredited by RICS.MRICS qualified with a minimum of 2 years PQEHave demonstrable experience in the full life cycle of projects.A solid understanding and experience of a variety of product routes.Have an understanding of the French language including verbal communication.Have solid organisational and management skills.Have advanced excel skills with the capability of linking spreadsheets, producing graphical reports, lookup formulae and analysis.Strong technical quantity surveying knowledge.Demonstrable ability to multitask and work on multiple projects at any one time.Able to work effectively using your own initiative and manage your own workload efficiently.Have experience of the hospitality / commercial sector.Have the confidence to challenge and strong negotiation skills.Full clean driving license.Willing to travel nationally and potentially internationally.
