Senior Portfolio Surveyor

Senior Portfolio Surveyor required for work with a County Borough Council


Your new company
You will be working with Bridgend County Borough Council - a large and forward thinking council based in the centre of South Wales. You will be working within their Corporate Landlord / Strategic Asset Management & Investment department.

Your new role
You will be the strategic lead for all assets within your individual property portfolio. You will provide professional advice as required on the whole of the Council's estate. You will be required to exercise commercial judgement and financial acumen in the proactive management of the portfolio (including acquisitions, developments, management and disposals). You will manage individual properties on behalf of occupiers/tenants/customers
from an occupier's perspective and workplace management.

What you'll need to succeed
We will consider newly qualified candidates. You must have a professional membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and must be educated to degree level or the equivalent. You will have Project / programme management experience and have experience managing a portfolio of properties in a range of professional activities including valuation, negotiation, sale & acquisition. Experience in either the public or private sector is acceptable.
