Building Services Engineer - University of Plymouth - Permanent Post

Hays are working in partnership with the University of Plymouth who are seeking a Building Services Engineer to join them in a key permanent position. You'll be joining an employer of choice in the region, and a leader in the provision of specialist higher education located in the heart of the Southwest.

Your new role
As a Building Services Engineer (M&E Lead), you will provide specialist building services knowledge and expertise as required in order to contribute to the delivery of a wide range of minor works projects located across the university campus - these works including refurbishments, alterations, extensions and building component replacements. You will provide M&E specifications to meet requirements, monitoring project activity, including expenditure, resources, quality and performance.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this post you'll need to have an excellent understanding mechanical and electrical engineering works within Building Services. Ideally you will have experience of delivering an M&E related role within large estate with multiple sites and / or buildings. You'll ideally have a relevant qualification within Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, and could be working towards chartered membership of CIBSE.
