Senior Quantity Surveyor

About the role

This well-established multi-disciplined consultancy works on projects all over the country with value ranging from £10-100 million working from an office network spanning the UK. Their partner lead approach has ensured an 80% repeat business rate with previous clients including the RNLI, Rolls Royce and the National Gallery, contributing to their continuously successful growth for over half a century.

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will work collaboratively within a team of 15 which is then split into 2 (with a 3^rd in process) lead either by service or client relationship.

Each team is invested in inciting an enjoyable, harmonious work environment whilst also maintaining a high standard of professionalism. You will be responsible for proactively driving projects forward, providing accurate cost advice and reporting through all stages of the project lifecycle. You will also oversee and manage the entire tender process as well as fulfil multiple EA duties such as monitoring.

About you

The successful candidate will have a degree qualification RICS accredited or equivalent and be MRICS chartered. Ideally you’ve worked in a property consultancy however someone from a construction background would also be suitable. Strong negotiation and cost management skills are essential during the construction and evaluation of final accounts.
