Building Surveyor

Chartered Surveyors in Kent who work predominantly in the private sector in Central London and the Home Counties have an opportunity for a Building Surveyor, MRICS qualified or with at least 5 years of experience in private practice.

You will be working closely with the management and with an APC Assessor on your team you are in a great place for your journey to becoming RICS chartered.

There is potential for significant career development for the successful candidate who should be able to demonstrate sound technical and communications skills, work in a team environment and be able to accept responsibility for receipt and delivery of client instructions. The candidates should also have good interpersonal skills and sound commercial sense.

The company works predominantly in the private sector in Central London and the home counties. You will be working for a number of clients including major London Estates, livery companies and managing agents. 

Newly-appointed staff will wish to develop their career and be client facing and keen to develop new business opportunities.

The areas of work you will cover includes:

• Contract administration
• Planned maintenance surveys
• Schedules of condition and dilapidations
• Development monitoring
• Party wall matters
• Defects analysis
• Landlord’s representative in relation to tenants’ fit-out and alteration works.

We are looking for an experienced Building Surveyor with similar experience, keen to develop their career as part of a team.
