Building Surveyor

We have a superb opportunity for a building surveyor who wishes to join a larger consultancy that keep balance, inclusion and progression at the top of their priorities when it comes to their employees.

The business provides building consultancy and property management advice nationwide to an extensive portfolio of commercial clients. Clients are principally institutions, pension funds, insurance companies and property managers to name a few. The position has come about due to sustained and consistent growth.

The opportunity will made up of managing a full range of building surveying instructions, across a variety of properties including office, retail and industrial.

The workload will be evenly balanced across project and professional services and will see you acting as contract administrator on projects that typically range up to £30m. Professional services advice includes defect diagnosis, dilapidations, due diligence, pre-acquisition surveys to name a few.

The successful building surveyor will be at the latter stages of their APC or MRICS, with relevant experience and excellent communication skills. The business encourages flexible working and it is important you are able to work on occasion autonomously.

In return the business will provide:

Basic Salary £40,000 to £65,000 D.O.E

Car allowance £3,000
