Our client

We are proud to be working with a leading independent consultancy firm who have been in business for over 100 years. Maintaining great relationships is key to their success, priding themselves on a highly personal approach.

The role

We are looking for a wayleave officer who will be based between Glasgow and Edinburgh. Initially working from home, but office and site visits will become the usual working practice.

You will be seconded to the client who will manage the day-to-day responsibility but with the full support and training from the rural team.

You will be responsible for arranging access onto land to allow the management of utility work, dealing with compensation claims, and servitudes.

The work will involve a fantastic combination of office and outside work with fantastic views of the countryside

The candidate

Liaising with different departments and stakeholders the ideal candidate will naturally be a good communicator with an eye for detail.

Experience in utility work is necessary and an understanding of rural issues an advantage.

Further training and support will be given in the areas required.
