Senior Quantity Surveyor

Amazing opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a progressive, nurturing multi-disciplined construction consultancy based in London working across a range of sectors including commercial, education, heritage, healthcare.

About the role

This well-established multi-discipline consultancy has built up expertise from over 40 years in the industry and works on projects across the UK with an office network spanning across 7 cities. Having built up long-term client relationships with many household names such as Rolls Royce, Sainsbury's, Ministry of Defence and the Eden Project as well as award winning projects The Wave (Bristol) and the Box (Plymouth) they seek to provide assurance and confidence.

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor you will work within a close-knit team and be comfortable using your own initiative and working independently to drive projects forward - from initial estimates, cost plans and tender documents, right through to the final account s. Collaborating and communicating with colleagues, clients and contractors is also a significant part of the role.

About you

The successful candidate will have a RICS accredited degree and be working towards (or want to) chartership. Ideally you will have run NEC contracts but if not, JCT at the minimum as well as have taken on responsibility of running your own projects without supervision. Confidence leading a team of Quantity Surveyors is also key as a Senior. You will also need to be mobile and have your own car as a lot of the work will be on site in Success, Hampshire and Wiltshire.
