Interim Building Surveyor – Yorkshire - £40/hr – 6-12 Months – Inside IR35

The key responsibilities will be focused around reactive repairs on a range of commercial and operational buildings. This will include site visits and assessments, then putting together a schedule of works/drawing up designs and procuring this work from the Council’s approved contractors.

The portfolio is commercial and community, comprising of corporate buildings, care homes, schools and office blocks.

It is not necessary to be CIOB or RICS for this role, but it is essential to have significant experience carrying out these duties (ideally within a Local Authority setting).

The work is purely reactive, rather than planned, and will not include condition surveys or void repairs.

The Council use AutoCAD and NBS Chorus, so experience of either system would be desirable.

You must also be able to secure an Enhanced DBS.
