HAYS are delighted to be working exclusively with the highly prestigious, Wessex Reserve Forces & Cadets Association (RFCA), who are seeking a Works Officer to join the team of a 2-year fixed term contract. The RFCA is an independent, not-for-profit organisation dedicated to supporting and promoting the 4,500 Reserves, and 15,000 cadets across the Southwest.


Your new role
As a Works officer you will be accountable for 12 projects across the region, focusing on the optimisation of the estate. This could include disposal of surplus properties implementing and managing the delivery of dilapidations. You will ensure for all works undertaken meet statutory requirements including building regulations, fire safety and estate compliance. Where appropriate you will engage with external consultants to assist in design and procurement of works. .


What you'll need to succeed
To be a Works Officer, you will have prior experience working within a Building Surveying or Asset Management discipline and well versed in Compliance / Healthy & Safety standards.
