Maintenance Manager required to lead across a busy DLO providing housing maintenance services across Somerset
Your new company
As a Maintenance Manager you will join a local authority owned DLO responsible for providing an effective maintenance service across a diverse range of properties in the South West.
Your new role
Your role will involve coordination and delivery of a fast paced property maintenance service, working with team leaders and supervisors to ensure that works are completed to the required standard, within budget and that satisfaction levels from tenants are at the required levels. You will help to recommend and drive further efficiencies across the department, as well as using your technical expertise to troubleshoot any issues as they arise.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this post you will ideally have a background operating within the construction maintenance sector, either as a supervisor or DLO manager previously. Further to this, you will need to demonstrate excellent communication skills allowing you to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders at all levels.
What you'll get in return
In return you will receive an initial long term contract position with 6 months in duration - this contract is highly likely to extend and there is a realist chance for further progression into a permanent post. You'll be remunerated with a competitive daily rate of pay.
