We are proudly aiding the growth of an established independent property consultancy, recruiting a versatile MRICS surveyor to join in a professional services capacity, completing Lease Consultancy and Valuation work for a diverse range of clients predominately across London and the South East.

The business has been providing reliable advisory services to private funds, institutional investors and major corporate occupiers across the UK for the past three decades and continue to win exciting new contracts through their modern approach and partner led service. 

You will be joining a small, sociable team with a family feel, suiting a surveyor looking for a work hard, play hard ethos away form the large corporates yet not compromising on quality of work or employee benefits. 

Their office is based in Guildford yet the business offers scope for a hybrid arrangement of office vs homeworking should you desire.

The Role 

The main body of your role will see you conduct lease consultancy work on a mixture of commercial properties (retail & offices with some light Industrial) servicing existing contracts & relationships but also generating your own. Due to the size of the business you will also have the chance gain exposure in other areas too such as valuation and investment, offering strategic advice to landlords and tenants alike.

About you

We are looking for a chartered surveyor with professional services experience from Surveyor level up to Associate. For a more senior level position the expectation is to be forward thinking and well networked with the appetite to generate additional fee income. 

The ideal hire will also be competent and qualified to complete red book valuations where necessary (desirable). In fact we are happy to look at surveyors coming from either a valuation or agency background.
