Graduate Surveyor- Residential Valuation & Advisory

Scope

We’re looking to recruit an enthusiastic and hardworking Graduate Surveyor with a flexible attitude and variable skill set to work on Residential Valuation instructions based in Dubai and also capable of undertaking research related advisory work. The candidate will be focused with valuations and ideally have chosen the valuation APC route.

Responsibilities

¨ A willingness to learn and understand a new real estate market.

¨ To understand the business and have a sound business knowledge.

¨ To obtain instructions within agreed guidelines to achieve agreed business targets.

¨ To research accurately and present this information in writing to a professional standard.

¨ To assist other departments and develop new skills in order to broaden your learning experience and career path.

¨ To undertake the efficient administration of all procedures in carrying out business.

¨ To build and maintain goodwill, confidentiality and trust with prospective and existing clients at all times in order to foster the professional image of the Partnership.

¨ To communicate fully with all stakeholders concerned to ensure that business is managed in an efficient and professional manner.

¨ To conduct site inspections

¨ To perform other tasks delegated by the Partner in charge as required.

Professional experience and personal skills profile

Qualifications/Education Required

¨ University degree, must be RICS accredited.

¨ Language skills: Strong written English, Arabic (preferable but not necessary).

¨ Ideal candidate would be looking to become MRICS qualified.

¨ Team player with good interpersonal skills.

¨ Strong verbal and numerical skills and ability to use excel and learn bespoke valuation software

¨ Keen enthusiasm for Residential valuation / advisory in particular

¨ You must have the drive to succeed in a competitive marketplace and be seeking an opportunity for fast track career progression.

Career Experience Required

¨ Experience of working in a business environment is required.

¨ Middle Eastern experience is preferred.

¨ The experience, ability and enthusiasm to make and maintain business contacts.

¨ The ability and willingness to accept responsibility for any delegated tasks and duties.
