About you

We are looking to engage with an ambitious and passionate surveyor to help us to drive forward our Liveable Exeter aspirations. You will be able to work closely in a team environment and individually on projects. Excellent knowledge of property development valuation and law will be required as well as significant experience in these areas. 

About the role

Reporting into the City Surveyor and working closely with the Director – Planning and Development the post will provide professional expertise in the practical delivery of the City Council’s Liveable Exeter aspirations, focussing on property development and regeneration across a range of sites, providing advice on development concepts and viability and negotiating property transactions to facilitate delivery.

About the team

You will be part of our small, focussed Commercial Estates team with the Corporate Property Unit. Interviews for the post are due to be held in Exeter on 16.06.2022.
