Stock Condition Surveyor, Nottingham/Derby, immediate start, temporary contract


Your new company
A Housing Association based in the East Midlands are seeking to appoint a new member of the team to help with a backlog of work. The role is an immediate start, full time, 5 days per week based in Derby/Nottingham. The role will primarily involve visiting homes to conduct a thorough inspection into the condition of the house and identify defect/repairs.

Your new role

• Be flexible in approach and to assist other colleagues within the business to effectively deal with all reactive and routine repairs, major works, including disrepair and insurance claims when necessary.
• Provide technical support for all reactive repairs, maintenance and stock improvement works to ensure that the organisations assets are maintained and developed in accordance with agreed business plans, objectives and standards.
• Propose technical solutions conduct technical inspections as required to assist the customer or operative whilst on site.

• Raise and manage works arising, right through to completion.

• Coordinate inspections following diagnostic solutions.

What you'll need to succeed

• A relevant qualification in surveying/construction or equivalent on the job experience.
• Social Housing experience.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Commutable location to Derby/Nottingham
• Technical knowledge of Maintenance/Defects/Repairs and fantastic communication skills.
