Project Manager

The Salvation Army

Birmingham, West Midlands

You’ve wrapped up yet another project, but when was the last time you focused on the most important one?

That project is you.

It isn’t a coincidence you’re reading this, you’re looking for a change. The last couple of years have not only been a blur, but have also allowed time for us to reflect and really appreciate what truly matters to us.

The Salvation Army always want to do more. As one of the UK’s most well known and inspiring Charities, their ethos and values are expressed through charitable actions of giving back to the most vulnerable in our communities. They have a portfolio of over 3,000 properties, included in this are 650 churches and community centres, as well as residential, charity stores and even farms. With such a unique and diverse portfolio, the Charity are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their Property team.

Based in Birmingham, you will be responsible for the successful management of property projects. This will include new builds, reactive and planned maintenance, statutory compliance, extensions, a new Head Office, and significant capital projects.

Using your experience of managing project processes paired with strong communication skills, you will work closely with stakeholders to create established project goals and deliver in a timely and cost effective manner. An integral part of the team, you will not only liaise with external consultancy teams and the Property team, but also the other support functions within The Salvation Army, including but not limited to, Legal Services, Research & Development, and Finance Department.

As an organisation, The Salvation Army find it just as important to give as much back to their employees as they do with the community. With not only a competitive salary, benefits include the flexibility of home based working, generous pension and bank holidays, and even a company car!

If you’re a Project Manager looking to embark on a new and rewarding journey, or know someone who does, apply now or drop me a message on LinkedIn (Sasha Brown), and we can discuss further.
