Permeant - Electrical Design Engineer - Newark - £40,000 - £50,000 - Contractor
Your new company
A well established an Electrical and Mechanical contractor based in the Newark area, seeks Electrical Design Engineer to join their team. This is a small family organisation that is experiencing growth in a number areas of their business. They work with a variety of different clients from sectors including; retails, warehouses, offices and education. These projects will vary in size, typically between small to medium sized.
Your new role
You will be an Electrical Design Engineer working for an E&M contractor in Newark area. You will be joining a friendly and supportive team. Your duties will be varied including; designing electrical installations for new and refurbishments, drawing up specifications and tendering appropriately. You will be the first to establish the Electrical Design Engineer part of the business, with opportunities to lead (if desired).
What you'll need to succeed
You will need a some experience in working directly as an Electrical Design Engineer, candidates from a contractor or consultancy background would be considered. You will have a HNC in Electrical Engineering or similar (significant experience would be considered in lieu of this). Familiarity with Amtech and Relux would be advantageous but not a necessity,
What you'll get in return
Salary £40,000 - £50,000 and pension. Monday to Thursday 8am - 5pm and Friday 8am - 4pm. You will also eligible for a car (electric or hybrid). You will have holiday allowance 22 days plus alongside your bank holidays.
