Tired of same old properties same old problem everyday?
How about a job where no one day is the same!
This is a great opportunity where you get to work on an eclectic and vast portfolio of properties ranging from farm yards to churches, to residential buildings, to large commercial space. This charity has it all and more!!!
The charity we are talking about is the Salvation Army, which you no doubt will all have heard of as it is a household name. It’s sole focus is to help the welfare of others and help the community around them.
With a property portfolio of over 3000 buildings UK wide, this is really a job that not only will you be helping others, you will also be enjoying the process. You will be working with a diverse set of people all who are striving to do good. You don't have to be of the faith, it is your moral compass that is important and belief to help others where you can.
What we are looking for is someone that is used to working on a number of properties and used to managing a number of projects on the one go.
You will be working on numerous project up to the values of £350K, all varying in size and complexity, am sure every day will be a learning day with such a mixed bag of portfolio, covering the beautiful highlands of Scotland. The main focus will be the central belt of Scotland between Edinburgh and Glasgow, but will be a few projects outside this area.
Luckily you won’t need to worry about the cost of fuel rising, for a company car along with expenses will be covered, which with household prices all going up, always comes as a great benefit.
As a building surveyor you will be used to working to PPM at some point, but what is most important is your ability to build relationships with both colleagues and proprieties???o never forgetting the core value that you are trying to help other peoples welfare and living.
Like with a lot of companies, the Salvation Army really understands the importance of a good work life balance. Giving you the option to work from home when writing up reports, but also having plenty of office space, should you prefer to work in a office, working to your needs.
If this is something you might be interested in, I would love to hear from you and can give you more information about this great opportunity
