Purpose of the role

Forming a key part of the development department based at Alder King's head office in Bristol you will be predominately focused on development agency and some consultancy advice.

The key element of this role is to work with existing clients to enhance the value of their land holdings and development new off market opportunities. This will mean dealing with a wide range of residential development agency instructions, providing advice to landowners in respect of promotion agreements, options and land sales.

This role will involve

Designing and implementing disposal strategies for landowner clients

Development consultancy to include development appraisal

In depth market analyses to inform development strategies

Proactively develop landowner relationships and build on Alder King's strong existing network

Work with other internal departments to enhance revenue streams and identify market opportunities.

Skills and Qualifications

Ideally MRICS qualification with experience of working within a development team

Residential and mixed use property development experience would be extremely advantageous

IT literate in MS Word, Excel and Outlook.

Strong organisation, prioritisation, time management and attention to detail skills.

Good communication and inter-personal skills.

Self-starter with the ability to work on own initiative, adaptable and proactive.

Receptive to change, ability to work under pressure, good team player with a flexible approach.
