Geodime is looking for a Land Surveyor, to join our team, getting involved in all aspects of the work we undertake.
We are a geomatics company working with the latest technology. We have a diverse workload but with an emphasis on the quarrying sector. Our client base is strong and well established and we pride ourselves on going the extra mile to provide bespoke solutions. Based in West Sussex, we work across the UK.
This role will be full time and will incorporate fieldwork and desk-based processing. Desk-based work will be from our offices in Storrington, with easy access to the town and at the foot of the South Downs. Surveying in the field will take you around the UK, working on exciting projects and datasets from a diverse range of sectors. Visit our website to find out more.
The role would be to undertake:
- Topographical Surveys Measured building surveys Mine and Quarry surveys UAV surveys (no experience needed) Site Engineering 3D modelling and visualisations
We are looking for candidates with a diverse range of skills, which may include familiarity with:
- Current survey instrumentation for a diverse range of survey tasks from topographic to measured building surveys. Site engineering, including setting out, volumetrics and machine control 3D data manipulation Laser scanning and photogrammetry N4ce software and point cloud processing UAVs
A full UK driving licence is essential.

The successful applicant will be working with a small friendly team based in Storrington, West Sussex. They must be self-motivated, happy working alone or in a team and prepared to travel to sites across the UK, with some nights away.
