Cambridgeshire County Council is looking for an Asset Review Manager to lead the development and implementation of a property asset management strategy across the organisation.
The Council property portfolio, valued at almost £1 bn, contains over 1000 property assets. The focus of the portfolio is to deliver a diverse range of first-class services for the people of Cambridgeshire, aligning the Council’s property assets with the strategic aims and objectives of the Council.
You will work closely with property colleagues but also senior officers, elected Members and front-line service managers. You will need to be able to build strong and productive working relationships, facilitating and influencing to achieve the best outcomes. There will also be collaborative work with partner organisations.
In more detail your work will include:
• Delivering a new Asset Management Strategy
• Carrying out a review of the Council’ s property portfolio in line with the strategy and produce a property asset management plan
• Carrying out option appraisals, feasibility studies and service-based reviews
• Acting as property lead on collaborative internal and external projects.
You should have degree level education in a relevant property related discipline, experience in the property industry, and ideally experience of estate management and an RICS qualification, with an interest in emerging issues such as Net Zero.
The successful candidate can expect a salary in the region of £45,000, for someone of the right experience, with annual performance reviews.
