Job Details
Beach Baker is delighted to be working with a leading and long-established institution in Bristol who is looking to recruit an in-house surveyor.
The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to the provision of detailed medium and long-term Capital Maintenance programmes across the Estate. This will require making decisions on prioritising works using a risk matrix score to ensure consistency across the team.
The role will require reactive surveys to be undertaken to diagnose faults to the building fabric which will necessitate project work to be undertaken. This may involve the production of design detail specifications, schedules of works and all other associated documentation that is to be delivered by the Project team.
The hiring manager is looking for an individual with a degree or HNC/D in a Building Surveying or Construction Project Management qualification and experience of undertaking asset building condition surveys, creating detailed reports, often working with large and complex data.
This is a contract position with an immediate start date. The expected end date is 31st October which may be extended depending on workload.
