An exciting opportunity has arisen for someone with a background in managing the end-to-end delivery of construction contracts to oversee the energy efficiency retrofit of domestic properties across Boston, East Lindsey and South Holland. As the Project Manager you will lead a new £7-million programme to deliver energy efficiency across the South and East Lincolnshire Councils Partnership.

The successful candidate will manage the Green Homes Grants team to deliver high profile Government-funded projects which not only contribute towards achieving climate change targets to reduce carbon emissions, but also offers support to those living in fuel poverty who are heavily impacted by current rising energy costs.

You will lead a passionate team of individuals working in a fast-paced environment. You will support a culture of collaboration both within the team and with external contractors engaged to successfully deliver quality projects within demanding timescales.

The position is part of the wider Climate Change and Environment Team, offering the opportunity for professional development opportunities in terms of sustainable development and wider environmental initiatives with scope to design and devise new schemes to deliver on this agenda.

Essential criteria

• Significant experience in Contract Administration and legal compliance using the NEC suite of Contracts

• Degree in construction, engineering or project management and evidence delivery of large-scale complex works delivery to challenging programme

• Proactive communicator and team player with strong ethos of collaboration

If this role is initially based in Manby, it will change to Horncastle due to a planned office relocation.
