We have an opportunity for a Senior Surveyor to work in and pioneer the next alternative market segment, which has enormous revenue growth potential. You will be part of our Energy & Infrastructure advisory, development and investment Team in Edinburgh or London West End.
The Infrastructure Projects Authority, part of HM Treasury, forecasts a combined private and public investment in new UK infrastructure projects of c. £650bn over the next ten years.
Typically, infrastructure assets require and occupy extensive real estate, and this offers C&W a huge potential market segment in both transactional and advisory work (development and planning, letting and investment agency, strategic analysis and consulting). The work is typically high value, complicated, confidential and commercially sensitive.
You can expect to work on a range of complex large-scale development land agency transactions and forward investment funding of infrastructure projects with capital values of £100m-£2bn, with an initial focus on energy and renewables.
This will require you to have good commercial awareness and over time you will develop a deep understanding of the clients’ businesses and the commercial, technical and regulatory issues that drive decision-making.
Joining this team you will have the opportunity to carry out a wide range of industry research and monitoring of projects, where you will establish potential targets for a range of our services across the sector and other geographies.
What we need from you;
- An interest or experience in the Energy & Infrastructure sector and project funding, which in essence “makes the world work” is essential.
- You will have previous experience of cashflow analysis and good attention to detail
- APC qualified.
